Movement For Modern Life

Lately I have been trying to make all the best choices for my health and happiness. Like anything, that comes with good and bad days. There are times where I am all about meditating and salad, along with the times where I sit about eating junk food feeling bad about myself. However a recent discovery has really been helping me to increase the positive happy days, and that is Movement For Modern Life

It is great because:
  • There is no need to leave your home
  • You can progress at your own pace, and make it fit around your lifestyle
  • You can take your yoga classes anywhere you want

The site has unlimited variety no matter what ability you are. I've started the beginner videos and am loving it, there is such a range that it is never boring. I am always finding something new to try! This online tool kit has helped me so much in staying active and grounded the past few months.

For me, it could not be more perfect, I hate going to the gym and especially that involves me sitting in a big room taking a class with people who are much better than me at it. I think I would actually say that is the only reason I haven't tried yoga before now. I didn't know where to start and I didn't want to go to a class. I'd always rather work out in the privacy of my own home and so MFML is just perfect for that.

The great thing about this is that you can literally take it anywhere with an internet connection. I'd recommend it not just for if your busy, working and always too lazy to go to gym classes (like me), but also anyone long term traveling! I always felt while on the move all the time that I never had time for myself, or to get moving, I only wish I had this then!
I particularly love the different sections you can access, based on mood, style, teacher or duration depending on how much time you have, MFML fits around any schedule. I particularly love the moving into calm section. Its become really helpful to use to transition from work into personal time as sometimes its very hard to get a work life balance, or be able to switch off.

Not only can you browse to find the perfect video for you but there are also 'challenges' pre planned, it's like having your own personal yoga instructor! With daily email reminders of what your working, this has been so great for me, as the beginner programme has eased me in wonderfully with a  21 day plan!

Keeping moving and your health is so important, but in my personal opinion nowhere near as important as keeping your brain happy. MFML does both for me and I can't wait to keep sharing my journey, maybe next time I won't be too shy to share some yoga poses of my own. :)
A subscription costs 10.99 a month which for the wide range of classes you get is so worth it.
