Reasons To Be Excited For Autumn

Seeing as summer is drawing to a close, and for a while I was down in the dumps about it, I thought I would write a little post for all the amazing things this new season is has to bring, along with some autumnal looks for you all from Wearall!
My excitement is building as I type this!

The atmosphere, I don't know how to explain it but there is such an atmosphere in the Autumn which makes me feel cosy and warm.

Cuddles on the sofa because its too dark to do anything, but secretly your kinda glad to hibernate.

Golden sunlit mornings, felt like i have had a few already where the sun gleams through the trees.

Pumpkin spiced lates. Nothing else needs to be said.

All the colours.

Cool, crisp, fresh air in autumn can't be beat.

All the winter coats come down from the attic.

Food, warm homely food and tons of it because winter is coming so who needs to worry about that.

Mustard everything in the wardrobe department. Jumpers, coats, dresses. You name it, I'll have it in mustard thank you.

Turtle Necks.

Golden leaves gleaming in the sunlight, I am dreaming of the walks I am going to have already!

Halloween and all things spooky.

Getting cosy infront of the fire with a hot chocolate watching all the great telly

Speaking of which, I'm a celebrity get me out of here.

Wrapping up in scarfs (I missed you)

AND Jumpers too. Basically all the clothes.

and last but not least, Bonfire night, warm drinks and friends and huddling round the campfire and fireworks and maybe a fun fair. The best night of the year in my personal opinion.

I hope that if your reading this you are now fully in the mood for this fantastic season of joy. I certainly am.

A weekend In Snowdonia and climbing mount snowdon

After lots of research and splashing out on some new walking boots I recently had the adventure weekend of a lifetime in Snowdonia National Park!
After enjoying mountains, hiking and spectacular views so much while in New Zealand I simply couldn't believe that similar stunning scenery existed just half a days drive away in Wales. I had to see it for myself.
This trip goes hand in hand with my recent posts surrounding exploring the UK, this has to now be up there with my favourite places in the world.

Exploring the UK: A weekend in Exeter, Durdle Door and Wisley Gardens

I am so so excited to be writing this post and starting this new little series on UK travel. Since traveling the world and being so spoilt with beautiful locations, I became a little bit down on the UK thats for sure.
Its easy to take the place we, ourselves, live for granted. The grass is always greener so they say. Becoming aware of this made me want to get out there and see all I possibly can within the UK and show you all some fabulous destinations you could visit for a fraction of the price of going aboard!

Every weekend me and my lovely boyfriend have been visiting somewhere new, and not breaking the bank too! Recently we have been to Brighton, Bournemouth, West Wittering Beach, The New Forest, Wisley Gardens and Exeter. Thats in the last couple of months and I am pretty proud of us.

Exploring in the UK: A day in Brighton

Travel and adventures I am coming to realise do not just have to mean going to the most exotic and exciting places in the world. It can just mean exploring locations closer to home. When you don't have the time or the money to jet set, finding new things to see and do that are only a drive away is a must.
This bank holiday weekend me and my boyfriend headed down to Brighton for the day, as its been so beautiful and sunny in the UK for once why waste the opportunity.

We drove down at midday enjoying the hour and a half drive with some summer tunes from Radio 1 Big weekend, as soon as we drove into Brighton I had that summertime holiday feeling that comes from escaping the day to day routine. This is so important to do I have come to realise. Escape even if it be for one day, to do something different from the norm. It keeps me from feeling stagnant and from feeling the all too frequently felt travel blues.

Making Skincare a Priority.

Taking care of number one is something that is too easy to forget when life gets in the way. With work, relationships, family and friends, sometimes everyone forgets to think about themselves too. This month I have been trying to really put my health and happiness to the forefront of my mind because at the end of the day its the only way to be the best you.

Along with trying new yoga, experimenting with vegan meals and doing squats every night, I have also been trying to take better care of my skin...

Movement For Modern Life

Lately I have been trying to make all the best choices for my health and happiness. Like anything, that comes with good and bad days. There are times where I am all about meditating and salad, along with the times where I sit about eating junk food feeling bad about myself. However a recent discovery has really been helping me to increase the positive happy days, and that is Movement For Modern Life

It is great because:
  • There is no need to leave your home
  • You can progress at your own pace, and make it fit around your lifestyle
  • You can take your yoga classes anywhere you want
